Dear friends,
Süd-Chemie, the animal feed additives division, is providing its clients, suppliers and employees with this new vehicle of communication, a discerning Newsletter containing information of interest to the market. Our commitment to the quality of this Newsletter is the same as that found every day in our plant and passed on to our products and launches. The key to maintaining quality within the industry is to be always open to suggestions and constructive criticism from suppliers, clients and employees. Only by doing this, can we constantly improve our products. Finally, the speed of change is the great phenomenon of our time. Vital changes in the business environment occur from one day to the next. Therefore, in order to remain competitive we have to be constantly attuned to the new demands of clients. This, in turn, demands that, besides having strong brands and being transparent, we have to maintain constant communication with the market and be close to it. It is in this direction that the investment we are making in this Newsletter is aimed. Its objective is to reinforce our presence in the field and become every closer to the segment. For these reasons, we hope to rely on the participation of clients, suppliers and staff in sending us information and news. This is essential so that every issue will be a wide-ranging publication which will always be of outstanding interest. Toxisorb: no counter effects
Safe and efficient, Toxisorb is a Süd-Chemie product which has been tested and approved by the international scientific community for the prevention of toxic effects from mycotoxin varieties with different molecular structures, such as: Aflatoxin, Fumonisin, Ochratoxin, Zearalenone and Toxin T-2.

Use of mycotoxin adsorbents in Brazil
Brazil produces an annual harvest of around 100 million tons of grains. Of these, around 42 million are soybeans and 29 corn. These grains respectively comprise the main sources of protein and energy used as raw material in the production of animal foodstuff, annual production of which comes to around 38 million tons.

Event The participation by Süd-Chemie was one of the highlights of the Latin American Congress on Swine Rearing, held in Foz de Iguaçu (PR), from October 16 to 18. “The congress surpassed expectations in terms of the expectations of clients, producers and those interested in our solutions”, said veterinary doctor Ivan dos Santos, product manager for additive products for animal fee of Süd-Chemie. “Participating in events like this shows that our work is being recognized and that we are on the right path”, he added. According to the organizers, the congress was regarded as the largest of its kind in Latin America. Overall, 2,030 people took part, of whom 1,360 were registered and another 670 were visitors and exhibitors. There were 435 participants from abroad, mainly from Argentina, Colombia and Peru.
